Had a fantastic time last Monday morning sea kayaking with Dan and Jo. After a comprehensive briefing, we paddled along the coast from Porlock Wier learning how to have fun in winds and waves. Then enjoyed my first experience of kayak polo - book on to find out what a blast that is! I recommend this highly - Dan runs an extremely well thought out session to fit the group. Thanks so much!
Hired a Scott strike E-bike for the day. Despite not having my normal equipment, I was provided with helmet, gloves, rucksack, lock, pump, multi tool, spare tubes as well as maps of the area and suggested routes. Had a brilliant day exploring the hills, some lovely single track and some fun downhills. The bike managed around 20 miles with 4000ft of climbing and was one of the best days out I’ve had for a while. My first time riding an E-bike couldn’t have been better.
Support from Dan and the team was excellent and friendly.
Exmoor Adventures helped us organise archery and mountain biking for a stag weekend. They gave us loads of advice in picking the best package which was just what we needed. They came to the accommodation for the archery and then took us all mountain biking across the Quantocks which was fantastic. It was great to have local knowledge of the best runs and their experience and understanding was invaluable ensuring that we all had a fantastic weekend. Thanks guys!
Kathy and i went out sea kayaking with Ben.He was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to be out with.We felt confident that he was looking after us and we were not over extended,we would recommend this company to everyone
We were a group of families with kids aged from 14 down to 8 and booked a morning coasteering with Dan.
I wasn’t quite sure what coasteering would be exactly. It turns out to be swimming in wetsuits out to rocks, climbing up them (walking up them really, as they are more like ledges) and then jumping into the sea. Repeat. It was great fun! Everyone started on a low jump and then those more confident could progress to higher ones.
Dan and Joe were great hosts. A good sense of humour and very experienced at putting us at our ease. Even those who claimed beforehand to be there just to keep an eye on their kids surprised themselves with how much they enjoyed themselves.
100% recommended - we’d do this again if coming to Exmoor. More
